← What we do

Structural changes

Opening up walls, adding beams, and changing how the house is laid out — done to the engineer's drawings and to permit.

Taking out a wall is the change that makes an older house feel new, and it is the one that has to be done right. Load-bearing walls are replaced with properly sized beams and posts, with the engineering and the permit in place before anything is cut.

We handle the sequence from temporary support through to the finished ceiling, so the opening is one job rather than three trades and a gap between them.
